Execute a five-star international program for up to 2,700 participants traveling in two waves and create a WOW experience that typified the best of Rome. The qualification period for the program ran through the end of June and the program operated in August. Airline ticketing and hotel needs constantly fluctuated as participants had the opportunity to extend their trip and the overall group sizes continued to grow.
BI WORLDWIDE housed Business Units in five separate luxury hotels throughout the city. Qualifiers attended unique evening functions that were successfully designed for the entire group using a DMC partner and a separate production company. Arrival and departure for 2,700 people on the same day was completed flawlessly with transportation needs managed around the clock.
97% of travelers rated Rome as a destination to be an effective motivator of performance, a 25% increase over previous years’ trips. 95% of the travelers rated the airline ticketing and event communications excellent or good. 86% of the travelers rated the overall experience as excellent.
